There's a bridleway from here that ends about half a mile away towards Thornton. Pave/gravel it and extend it to Thornton so kids from Bagworth can get to school by bike in Thornton and South Charnwood.

Lots of cyclists and walkers go from Groby to Newton Linford and vice versa. We really need the road widening to make a cycle path one side and a pavement for walkers the other side.

The footpath on the A50 north, from Wallace Drive to Field Head is not blessed with many pedestrians I encourage that it includes a cycle track - to keep cyclists of the very busy road

Cycle path to nowhere. This section needs to join up to the Dodwells junction which also has a path to nowhere. Well used route, check where the grass has worn away due to pedestrian / cycle traffic.
Not wide enough to allow 2 bikes or even 1 bike and a pedestrian. Barriers need moving, there should be enough space.
This would be a good roundabout to add in a Dutch Style to give pedestrians and cyclists priority over traffic. The roundabout is a huge size and with some improving a dutch style would work here.
No pedestrian/bicycle crossing signals. It is really dangerous crossing here. You cant see the car signals and you dont know who is going when or where. This junction is a fatal incident waiting to happen.
A shared bicycle pathway here would be much better. The road is very busy and bicycle usage is rising fast. Traffic is very high speed.

Cycle priority is needed along whole of perimeter road. Cyclists are required to give way not only at side roads but also factory entrances! On balance I feel safer on the road where I at least have priority.
Ridiculously narrow cycle lane markings on both sides of the roundabout on A47 to the Leicester side of the roundabout. Remove them, or make them 1.5m wide as they should be!

Prevent vehicles (primarily of homeowners) driving on the shared use path against the direction of traffic on the A50 to reach Markfield Rd. Dangerously unsafe and occurring several times daily.
Wide footway could easily be a shared facility, rather than narrow length of on-road cycleway on road
The shared use crossing point is very narrow and difficult to negotiate - ensure all crossing points are on desire lines and provide smooth transitions for journeys
Cycle route 2 ends around here but there should be provisions to extend it up Newtown Linford Ln, giving cyclists a safe route from Leicester centre into Bradgate Park.
Catchment school for Bagworth is in Nailstone. Children can’t cycle safely along this stretch of wood road between Cinamon the and Range road. Mixed cycle way/pavement would be great.

Road is too narrow and people now park both sides meaning sometimes you can't even get through, needs yellow lines
There is a lot of bicycle traffic here due to the staff of the Poundstretcher warehouse travelling to and from work. There has been few minor accidents as the road is dark and narrow with no bicycle lane and cars often speeding.

The secondary school on this road needs a safe cycle way. This will encourage cycling to school and decrease the amount of cars dropping off those students
Existing segregated cycleway is currently only suitable for one direction of traffic, not two-way. It needs resurfacing and widening.

This sign has evolved to grow up through the dense foliage and flower to reveal it's vital message: Cyclists Dismount to warn of the unmarked crossing of an industrial road.
