This no cycling sign is probably one reason why this cut through has no dropped kerb.

"Please pass wide & slow" Its so sad that we have to spell this out these days.

As a child learning to cycle it was irresistable to ride down this steepish jitty and so much fun.

No-Entry signs from which the "Except Cycles" panels have now been removed.

Published: letter in Hinckley Times pleading not to introduce cycling ban like the one in Cambridge. Its got worse since, see #25669.

Entry into Hinckley's Pedestrian Zone does not prohibit cycling, but in the distance "No Cycling" signs have appeared underneath the One Way arrows. But see #19622. See also #25669.

Hinckley's "Pedestrian Zone" permits buses and cycles.

The no-cycling sign here seems to be totally mean-spirited here. This connecting route is amply wide enough for cycling, and is used by motor vehicles for access and parking. Still it is a nice play area for children, who inevitably cycle ... [more]

Although marked No Cycling, this jitty is a really useful short cut to Leicester Road.
