Lack of a dropped kerb suggests that this is a footpath not a cycleway.

Shortcut, No Cycling sign, no dropped kerb.

Although these signs carry a negative, their main message to me is that a shortcut exists.

Barwell footpath

There’s a wooden channel on the side of these steps to help wheel bikes from Coventry Road down to the Ashby Canal towpath.

There is currently no path that continues around the park and in particular path access to the playground. This means that pushchairs have to be pushed over muddy and wet grass in order to reach the playground. This has resulted in a very … [more]

Rugby Road is very busy and the path narrow. Lorries and traffic are so close to pedestrians and waiting to cross the road I have to turn the pushchair sideways as there isn’t enough room on the path. Further up the road, houses have … [more]

Many people walk between Carlton and Market Bosworth on a regular basis. There is no footpath or pavement just mud and long grass for around 700m. Cars travel past at 60 - 70mph and pedestrians are blasted by the speed and often have to … [more]

This footpath is used a lot by workers cutting through to Sketchley Meadows industrial estate and needs upgrading especially around the stiles and gateways which become boggy in wet weather meaning it is impassable, resulting in people … [more]

The pavement needs widening needing reduced car parking and pedestrian priority

There is no footpath, residents with children, walkers and cyclists from Earl Shilton going to woodland trust wood on other side of Clickers Way or to Watery Gate are forced to walk on road or rough grass verge. Very dangerous cars at 50 … [more]

Pedestrian crossing is dangerous. High speed traffic. Add in crossing signals.

The new pavement that has been installed is too narrow. Widening the pavement will help to maintain distancing whilst reducing traffic flow.

A safe wide even footpath, for residents of all ability. Walking from Stoke Golding to Dadlington and The Around the Village Circuit using Stoke Lane passing Stoke Golding wharf and St Margaret’s Church.

At least one path down Hinckley Road should be even enough and wide enough for all pedestrians to travel safely. This includes people old and young with poor balance, parents with double buggies etc. Ideally footpaths on both sides of the … [more]

Radical improvement of the curent footpath between Stoke Golding and the edge of Hinckley and Morrison’s Supermarket. This is currently very narrow and in places comes so close to the curb edge that it is frankly dangerous. The footpath … [more]

Overgrown yet busy public footpath, impossible to pass other people at a safe distance

Very narrow footpath, needs widening and extension of 20 mph

Very overgrown, covered in leaves, grass growing over

Very narrow uneven pavement. Widening and even surfacing needed.

Much pedestrian use from Groby Pool to Newtown Linford, but only partial footway. Need to improve and maintain existing road verges to avoid need to walk in road where there are ditches or mud. Preferably no more tarmac here.

The pavement here is terrible even for walking. You have to walk in the road along certain sections

Footpath along Stoke Road is a disgrace. The council have failed to maintain it over many, many years and is now unsafe and unusable by St Martin's pupils and indeed adults. In time a proper cycleway should be created in the verge.
